Oiling your shredder prolongs the life of the unit. The high-viscosity gallon oil in a one-gallon bottle is for use with the LK automatic oiling systems and/or built-in automatic oiling systems. Simply place the cap and straw onto the gallon plastic bottle and attach it to your oiler.

SEM Shredder Oil 1 Gallon Bottle is specially formulated for use with High-Security. Proper oiling is necessary to reduce wear on expensive cutting head parts. Oil your shredder's cutter blades after 15 minutes of continuous run time to keep them running smoothly and prevent paper jams. SEM Shredder Oil 1 Gallon Bottle ensures complete coverage for Cross-Cut and Micro-Cut shredders. Regularly oiling your shredder maximizes performance and extends shredder life. It would be best to oil your cross-cut shredder each time you empty the waste basket or at least twice a month. Your micro-cut shredder should be oiled more frequently, ideally after every 15 minutes of use.
